AquaGO® X-TREME WEATHERGUARD is a durable coating & applied onto exterior masonry surfaces, offering protection against extreme weather conditions. Excellent weather protection, UV stable, very good flexibility and fibre re-enforced

Usage

  • Apply appropriate AquaGO® primer (surface dependent)

  • Plaster surfaces

  • Bricks

  • Fascias

  • Wood Steel

Application

  • Mix thoroughly with a flat paddle or dedicated paint paddle before use. Stir occasionally during use.

  • Apply using a good quality roller and paint brush.

  • Apply two coats minimum, when necessary, apply three coats on weather facing sides.

  • Thinning not recommended.

Surface Prep

  • Wall substrate must be sound, oil and fat free. Repair all cracks, using appropriate compound.

  • When applied to already painted surfaces, all loose and flaking material must be removed. If the painted substrate presents a smooth or glossy sheen, the surface must be sanded using a 200-grit sandpaper to ensure a profile for good bonding. Once the substrate has been sanded, all dust must be removed before commencing with painting.

  • Apply a single coat of AquaGo X-Treme or AquaGo Tie-coat Primer at 6m2 to 8m2 per litre, when applying directly onto newly plastered wall and allow primer to dry for 6 to 8 hours.

  • Coverage: 6m2 to 8m2 per L per coat, depending on the substrate profile.

  • Allow 4 to 8 hours between coats, depending on temperatures and humidity.
